Sadie is a dancer and digital media artist raised in Kwanlin (Whitehorse), the Traditional and current Territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council.  They split their time between Kwanlin and Tiohtià:ke (Montreal). Sadie’s practice is to research human identity and expression that explores the connection to people and the natural environment around us. In April 2019, Sadie co-founded Off Course Footing, a collective that operates with the goal of bringing dance out of a traditional theater or studio setting, and to the general public by making use of pre-existing available space within the natural world. In 2021, Off Course Footing produced their four-hour show In Relation at the Yukon Arts Centre. Sadie is a 2021 graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Performance Dance Program. In 2019, they received the Pamela Hackett Award of Excellence in Dance through the creative school. Sadie is currently working on their second bachelor's degree at Concordia University in Intermedia Arts.
